Looking back up at Reese again Sapphire understood what he was say and she new Scott probably didn't want anyone right now. So even if she did want to run up there to see him she would wait.
"Yeah I understand whats your saying. Thank you for letting me know Reese. Is someone taking care of Domino while Scott is gone?"
Sapphire new she was going to have to tell her parents later, and she wasn't sure how they would take it. She could only hope it well, and find the right words to say to lesson the blow.
Hearing Alec's words sends a whole new chill down her spine. Alec really...missed her? It felt odd hearing him say that but it felt oh so good as well. It gave Ryan a whole new reason to want to help him all she could.
"I guess getting you to Rick would be smart huh before I killed you from sitting on you."
Moving a little Ryan opens Alec's side of the car and and gets out, before leaning down again and slinging Alec's arm over her shoulder and helping him out. Slowly making there way inside she new the down perfectly having been there so many times before.
Once inside the main floor she makes her way to the infirmary. Seeing Reese out of the counter of her eyes she yells for him.
"Reese...I need you help. Alec needs to see Rick. He's got some broken ribs and I don't know what else. The Agency kidnapped him that night when he was walking back here. Please tell me Rick is in."
Continuing to make her way with Alec twords the infirmary didn't let go. He wasn't heavy and she was use to haling car parts around all day to even mind anyways.
3/15/10
Later
Reese nods to Sapphire, remaining gentle. "People will be able to see him just about whenever they want. It's a good place up there... real friendly," he assures, nodding again. "We... we hope he'll be okay. He didn't want to go but... Hope and I got him there. It's just going to take some time... time and patience and prayer."
He stops for a moment, knowing there was more he better say. "If... you're thinking about visiting him, you might want to way a little while. I don't think... he wants to see anyone right now and it might just make things harder if you go before he's ready to see you."
As Ryan comes in closer and begins to plant her kisses on him, Alec draws in a sharp breath, wanting to return the affection, but held back by his pain. Feeling her on his neck, his one arm tightens around her, his fingers digging into her back as he gives a low growl.
Once her lips return to his and she draws back again, his hand moves from her back to her face, his fingers outlining every curve from her forehead and nose, down to her lips, touching them lightly. Her combing of his hair makes his eyes go closed and he tilts hes head into it. "Maybe it's good I'm in pain," he teases. "I don't wanna get another bruise."
Pulling her head closer, he brushes his lips against hers lightly, but with passion, ignoring his wound for just a moment. "I missed you too," he admits in a whisper.
Even though Ryan was being careful, the close proximity and slight pressure were making it slightly hard to breathe, and he cringes just a little, his eyes apologizing. "We'll have to pick this up later." A crooked grin forms. "I'm afraid a trip in to see Rick is going to interrupt us here."

How much
Pulling into the parking lot Ryan gives Alec a sidelong glance at the mention of the spark in her eyes when she was mad and the grin on her face grew even more.
About to reply and get out of the car Ryan stops being pulled over to Alec. Looking down at him his questions sends her grin to widen and she eyes start to dance, and the fire is ignited. Leaning in a little more Ryan's lips brush Alec softly minding his cut lip. Pulling away a little her eyes still dance.
"You have no idea how much I missed you..."
Shifting around in the car a little and still taking great care Ryan moves and puts her one leg over top of Alec so she was facing him sitting in his lap. Leaning in close Ryan's eyes stair into Alec before giving his nose a kiss, and than his cheek, the side of his face and than moving to his ear where she gave it a tiny nibble.
"...I missed you a lot..."
Moving from his eat down to his neck Ryan gave it continues light kiss, around his neck, and under his chin till she goes to the other side of his neck giving it a gently nibble for a few seconds. Finally finding his lips again she grins giving them a light kiss because of his lip.
"...and I can't even give you the kind of kiss I want because of your lip. I don't want to hurt you."
Ryan's hands move on on the back of the car seat to hold herself off of Alec a little not putting to much pressure on his injures and her other hand finding his hair running her fingers though it.
Finishing what she was doing quick Sapphire finally looks up at Reese giving him a smile. Seeing the look in his eyes though as he comes in and sits down in a chair Sapphire new something was wrong. Before he even said he she could feel it was something to do with Scott. They were twins, it was a simple bond that seemed to warn the other.
"Reese...whats wrong?"
Listing and hearing what had happened with Scott Sapphire's heart sank a little. Her brother had been worse than she though. It hurt knowing he was not ok, but at the same time she was happy someone had taken controlled to make him better. If she had lost her brother again Sapphire wouldn't know what to do.
"Are people able to go see him?"
There was worry in Sapphire's eyes not ever hearing of this place before and wondering how her brother had reacted. They had, had a falling out recently but that didn't mean she loved him any less.
"Is...he going to be ok?"

How much
Reese nods knowingly and doesn't say anymore. They both needed time to think about this whole thing. Hope more than he. Getting inside TJY, Reese knew he had one more job to do today. He wasn't looking forward to it either, and he almost hoped Sapphire was gone for the day. No such luck though. As he heads for his office, he sees that she's still in her cubicle. It was only right that he told her what was going on.
Taking a deep breath, he musters up whatever courage he had left and approaches her desk. "Hey, Sapphire?"
He waits to gain her full attention before speaking quietly to her. He didn't want to drag her into his office and make a huge deal out of it, but he didn't want to just blurt it out for everyone to hear either. "Um... there's something you should know."
He retrieves a chair from an empty cubicle and comes closer, sitting down to be at eye level with her. "There's no easy way to say this, so... I'm just gonna say it." He pauses, collecting his thoughts. "Hope and I... we just got back from Brookshire Care Facility about two hours from here. We... admitted Scott there today."
Reese purses his lips, still trying to figure out the best way to explain. "He hasn't been... well, he hasn't been taking care of himself the last few weeks. He's gotten pretty depressed and... Hope and I were afraid he would get down too far to get back up again if he were left without help. So... he's in a safe place where hopefully they can help him. I just... I wanted you to know."
Alec lifts an eyebrow a little, wondering at Ryan's statement. "Wildcat..." He gives her a sidelong glance. "You?" A small smile emerges. He could only imagine. Had it been over Jason coming after him? Probably. He grins a little more as they pull into the TJY parking lot.
Shifting a little to the side, he shakes his head at Ryan. "The though of you taking on Jason... Mmm... I wish I coulda seen that." His tone grows sly. "I like that spark in your eye when you're mad."
Reaching over with his hand, he takes her jacket collar and pulls her over to him, unable to lean in himself. "How much did you really miss me the last couple days?"

Wild cat
Finishing her beer off Ryan lets out a small sigh. She felt bad and could only hope the people at TJY would understand and at least listen to him. He'd come this far to have it all go away.
"Hey, at least here you still have someone who will come and see you eh? Ya never know too the might understand more than you think. And yes I will drive slow."
Coming back over to Alec Ryan helps him up. Taking it slowly she new Alec was in pain and didn't want to jerk him around to much and causing more damage.
Finally getting him into the car and starting out Ryan drives slow. It was a little on the late side so she had no idea if anyone would be at TJY but she could only hope.
Glancing at Alec Ryan lips form a grin as she thinks about the event that had happened with Jason and she still found some humor in it.
"If you happen to see Jason, don't stair at him to much ok? I think he got in a fight with a wildcat."
Giving a small smile as Reese have her a hug Hope returned it. The comfort was nice though she didn't want to let it linger to much and start second guessing herself.
"Thanks Reese, I'll be ok. I'll keep the offer in mind though in case I need it."
Backing away a little Hope follows Reese inside before going to her makeshift office to gather a few things she needed. After that she'd had back to Scott's and grab Domino to bring her back to her house for a while.

Slowly
Once Scott is left alone, the tears start again, knowing that no one was near to hear him. He couldn't believe this was happening. He knew he hadn't been feeling well, but he hadn't thought anyone would do something like this to him. They said they cared... they said they loved him... but he felt like he was being abandoned. He'd been uprooted and forced into strange surroundings where he knew no one and was without the safety of his own home. He didn't know if he felt more rejected or angry. Both were prevalent. Burying his head into his pillow, he closes his eyes tight, hoping that somehow this was just some horrible nightmare and he would wake up back in his own room at home again.
Reese is waiting for Hope, and once they sit down with Dr. Hawks, it takes a while to get all the paperwork done and all the information shared. In the end, they are assured that Scott will be well taken care of and that both of them would be notified immediately if anything happened.
The ride back to TJY was long and silent. All the while, Reese was trying to convince himself that what he'd done was right... that he and Hope had been right. God forgive him if he'd been wrong.
He knew Hope needed her own time, so he respects silence, just letting the radio fill in the gaps.
Two hours passes by slowly, but eventually they were at TJY once more. It was early evening by now and a few people were already gone for the day but most were still there. Reese parks and gets out, waiting to walk inside with Hope. Getting to the door though, he pauses and turns to her. She was young enough to be his daughter and he cared about her like he did all of his agents. And he knew that right now, she was hurting even worse than he did.
Though very much out of character, Reese reaches out and gives her a gentle hug. "If you need anybody to talk to... my office is always open, okay?"
"I don't know." Alec lifts the beer to his lips even though it hurt a little, and took a nice long sip. He felt like he could use something even stronger, but it was probably best he didn't or else he'd just wind up in more trouble at this point.
Sighing, he looks down a few minutes before glancing back up to Ryan. "I'm screwed no matter what, aren't I?"
He flinches as he twists in his chair a little too quickly. "I guess I might as well rot at TJY than a dingy Agency basement." He lifts his beer can in a toast. "Here's to my life gone down the tubes."
Taking another swallow, he nods. "Alright. You win. But please... drive slowly for once."

So where
Following Jenny around Hope's own smile held on her face though on the inside she was hurting too. To see Scott like this, knowing he didn't want to come here it was hard, harder than anyone could imagine.
Finally getting to Scott's room Hope enters with him setting his bags down on the small table. Taking a glance around the room it was very nice, Hope new if Scott could come out of his shell just a little he might enjoy being here for a little while.
Starting to unpack his bags Hope pulls out Scott camera and a small box that contained his film and some pictures that had already been taken. Going to unpack his clothing Hope receives his cold words and they stung. She didnt want to leave Scott yet, she wanted to stay with him longer but after what they had put him through already the least she could do was respect his wishes now.
Going over to Scott Hope bends down over him and kiss him a kiss in the for head and small hug.
"Try and get some rest and I will see you tomorrow. I love you Scott."
Exiting the room Hope closes the door behind her. Turning and leaning against the wall for a second Hope collects herself before heading down the hall once more finding her way back to Reese and Dr. Hawkins.
Letting out a sigh and sitting down across from Alec Ryan thinks for a long moment. Alec didn't want to go back to TJY she wasn't going to force him, but that didn't mean she wouldn't try to continue getting him to go back on his own as a suggestion.
"Than you need to go to the hospital to get you ribs looked at Alec and they are going to know you there to but there they would be more apt to just throw you in jail outright, so I think it would be smarter to go to TJY, but...I won't force you."
Getting up again and going to the fridg Ryan pulls out two beers popping the top on both. Going back to the table she hands one to Alec. He looked like he needed something a little strong for the pain. Sitting down again in the chair flipping it around so her arms leaned on the back Ryan takes a sip of her own.
"So, if your not going to go back to TJY, and the Agency is after you...were are you going to go?"

Cozy room
Dr. Hawks listens to Hope with respect and nods to her. "I'll have one of the nurses show you to his room. It will be in a separate building than this to start out, based on the evaluation we received from both you and Mr. Reese."
Turning, he waves one of the nurses over. She was a little heavyset with black skin and long hair done up in attractive cornrows that were pulled back into a ponytail. She smiles brightly at Hope. "Hi, I'm Jenny." She cocks her head and looks to Scott. "Hello, Scott. It's nice to meet you." Even though she didn't receive a response, she holds her smile, very used to this kind of thing. Looking to Hope again, she gestures down the hall. "Please, come with me. It's just a short walk."
Scott was still tempted to turn and run, no matter how friendly these people pretended to be. His legs barely wanted to walk though, let alone run, so it wasn't even an option. No... he'd lost this battle. He was defeated, and his body language proved it.
Jenny leads the way down the hallway, past several rooms, then through a bright glass tunnel that led to the next building. This one was warmer with carpet instead of tiles and comfy furniture instead of waiting room chairs. Scott can't help but look up just a little bit to look at everything. There was a large foyer, but it felt more like a living room. There were open doorways that led to other rooms yet to be seen.
"In through there is the kitchen," Jenny explains, "and down there is a lounge and right around the corner is a library." She stops for a moment, looking at Scott again. "And you can go wherever you want, okay?"
Scott looks back at her dimly. "I want to go home."
Jenny's eyes have an extra kind look to them. She'd had a lot of practice with this, but her compassion never diminished. "I know. And you will. But for now, you have the run of the grounds, okay?"
Scott looks back at the floor. He really didn't care. He didn't want to go anywhere else around here anyway.
Jenny gives Hope an encouraging nod. "Follow me." Still leading the way, she takes them up a flight of stairs to the second floor, then another flight to the third. There was an elevator a little ways away, but most people in this area used the stairs.
There weren't too many rooms on the third floor. It was quieter here. Some doors were open and a few faces looked up as they passed. Scott felt so uncomfortable that his dizziness worsened. Trudging behind Jenny, they reach the last room. Opening the door, Jenny motions inside. "Here we are," she welcomes cheerily.
The room was bright with two windows. A few small paintings were on the wall, and the bed was made up with a comfortable-looking quilt. A small nightstand held a little lamp and there was a dresser with four drawers and a mirror hanging above it. A small closet was in the corner and an empty shelf ran along one wall for whatever the occupant wanted.
Jenny glances to Hope and Scott again, then back to Hope. "I'll leave you two to get settled. Scott, I'll be back later to tell you everything you need to know, and I can give you the grand tour when you feel up to it, okay?" Scott doesn't respond, but she smiles anyway and nods her farewell, leaving the room.
Scott wanders to the bed and sits down for a moment, then leans over onto his side, bringing his feet up to curl into a ball. "You can go now," he mumbles.
Alec winces again as Ryan continues to clean and bandage his face. "It's the way it works," he responds. It sounded as though he were talking with rocks in his mouth - it felt like it, too. "They don't trust anybody. If I've been with the Agency, Reese will think I ratted out the Elite. Agency die-hards will get themselves beat up just for show. Not to mention, even if Reese thinks I'm legit, he'll say I led them straight back here and they'll be waiting again for a good shot at his agents."
Leaning back a little, his arm is still wrapped around himself. "I don't even have any information," he mutters. "I was blindfolded from the getgo. All I know is I found my way from the east side of town."
He closes his eyes, trying to ignore the pain he was in. "I can't go back... they won't believe me."

Best bet
Heading inside with Scott and Reese Hope stays close with her hand on Scott's back. Even if he hated her, wanted nothing to do with her Hope wanted him to know she was there. She would be visiting him often in the hosp, almost every day taking the two hour drive. Just because he was here in this didn't mean she wasn't his Dr anymore or his friend.
Extending her other hand to Dr. Hawking Hope smiles and gives a nod. She was leery herself yet of this place only because she didn't know the people but from her research she could tell no one here would harm Scott.
"Can you show Scott and I to his room? I'd like to get him settled and he's probably tired from the trip. I know you will have questions and what not but I think its best he rested first."
Still offering her smile Hope new what the protocol was and everything that had to be done inside the hospital having worked long side a place like this before. But Scott did need to rest a little before he fell down with the sedative still wearing off.
"Reese can brief you a little while I get Scott settled and than if you need to know anything more, or the copy's of his paper work I have them with me and would be more than happy to talk with you. Though I will be here quite often myself any questions you have I'd be more than happy to answer."
Continuing to clean Alec up Ryan listens to him. A small grin forming on her lips at his mention to making out with him.
"And you were worried I'd sock you if you tried anything."
Going back to the first aid kit and getting some ointment and bandages Ryan places them over his cuts still listing to him. So thats why he hadn't made it back to TJY the Agency got him. He was lucky to have gotten away before they killed him. A seeming of re leaf washed over Ryan Alec really hadnt left her.
"Well first off, there Dr at TJY can do a lot better with fixing you up than I can. Plus if you double crossed them why would you go back? If you don't go our only say yes thats what I did. Taking one glance at you Alec I don't think they are going to think that. I think your best bet, is going because if you don't than when they catch you there will be no explaing... I will come with you."
Extending her other hand to Dr. Hawking Hope smiles and gives a nod. She was leery herself yet of this place only because she didn't know the people but from her research she could tell no one here would harm Scott.

Brookshire
Though still upset, scared and angry, Scott keeps still for the duration of the ride. He didn't even know where they were going, but it felt like he was being led away from his life. Defeat loomed over him like a cloud, dark and menacing.
Remaining the way he was, he keeps his head in Hope's lap and tries to fight against his raging emotions. Under the hurt and anger, there was a feeling of failure. He had failed to recuperate. He had failed Hope. He had failed to get back on his feet. He'd thought he felt weak before... now he felt even weaker.
Finally the long drive brings them to Brookshire Care Facility. It was a large complex with large well-taken grounds surrounding the buildings. Though they had a critical care center for those who were a danger to themselves or others, less threatening structures were also available. Trees were scattered throughout the campus. Compared to Northside or Crescentview, this could be considered homey.
Reese drives to the main building and parks, sitting in silence for a long moment. "We're here," he offers gently.
Scott is awake and staring into nothingness. He hears Reese and grits his teeth. "I guess if I fight, you'll just give me another sedative, won't you?"
Reese sighs, feeling rotten. He gets out and goes around, opening the back door. "Come on," he prompts. "We'll walk you inside and help you get settled."
Scott would like to make this as difficult as possible, and wanted to fight. He wanted to scream and yell and tell them to take him back home. He wanted to make a run for it. Or tell the workers here that he'd been kidnapped. Anything to get away. But he knew that none of it would work. He knew fighting was futile. There was nothing he could do. They had won.
Finally he sits up and eases out of the car, feeling a little dizzy at first. Reese leads him around to the front of the car and waits for Hope to come too, helping carry the two small bags that she'd gathered from the house.
Entering the building, Scott's eyes remained glued to the floor, his shoulders slouched and his hands in his pockets. The middle-aged, male doctor behind the counter looks up and smiles warmly at the three. He comes around to greet them, offering handshakes, but doesn't bat an eye when Scott doesn't interact. "Hi, my name is Doctor Hawks." He was tall and broad, his hair mostly gray. "You must be Mike Reese and Dr. Hope Garrison. And... this must be Scott."
Alec practically falls into Ryan as she comes to him, numbly letting her help him inside. Easing down at the kitchen table, he winces, his arm still tucked around his ribs.
Feeling the sting of the cloth on his face, he flinches, but doesn't fight off the help. His gaze finds Ryan, though she looked a little blurry today. "Agency," he manages. "I shoulda made out with you in the car instead."
A smile would have come had it not hurt too much. Drawing in his breath, he stops as pain shoots through his ribcage. "I couldn't... go back to TJY." His words are a bit mumbled. "They'll... they'll think I backstabbed them."

Oh my goodness
Finally Hope's own walls crack she couldn't do it any longer and her own tears seem to fall from her eyes as her fingers just continued to run through his hair.
"Your going to be safe Scott, and your going to get to feeling better. You are going to be ok I promise."
Leaning her head back against the seat Hope's tears still streamed down her face. She only hopped they were doing the right thing. In her heart she new it was, but second guessing yourself on someone you have come so close to was normal. She just wanted to see Scott himself again.
Listing to the door shut as Eli leaves Ryan lets out a long sigh before finally shutting the tv off. Maybe she would work on her car a little, it was a nice day out after all. Letting out a long sigh she just leans her head back against the couch.
Suddenly sitting up at a knock on the door Ryan just looks for a moment waiting to see if it was Eli coming back in. Seeing nothing though Ryan stands heading to the door. Opening it at first she didn't see Alec but movment on the right catchs her sighs. Seeing Alec there in a blood heap Ryan's heart starts to race as she exits the door.
"Alec, Oh my goodness...Alec...come on lets get you inside and cleaned up."
Slinging his one arm over her shoulder Ryan helps him inside shutting and locking the door behind her. Ushering him to the kicthen she has him sit down at the table while she grabs a bowl of water, a washcloth and the first air kit.
"Alec, what happened to you?"
Gently Ryan starts to clean the cuts and bruises around his face trying to get the blood cleaned up, and the dirt to keep the infection away.

In need
Scott tries to process everything, feeling a bit sick to his stomach. The soft music... Hope's fingers combing his hair... he wanted to just fall asleep, but something wasn't right... something had happened... what was it?
Slowly, the earlier events come back to him, and the feeling of dread descends on him once again. Still unable to move much, he simply rolls over a little so Hope couldn't see his face. "You took me anyway," he murmurs. Tears well in his eyes from so many pent up emotions. "You knew I didn't want to... you knew I was scared... and you took me anyway."
The tears escape from his eyes, rolling down sideways on his face onto Hope's lap and he sniffs, wanting to sit up and curl up by himself, but his muscles still were too weak from the sedative.
Reese glances in the mirror, pain on his face. He hated this. Oh, how he hated it. At least Scott was calm, but Reese would almost rather have a fight than see the suffering like this.
Scott manages to move enough to wipe his eyes, but remains lying down. He knew it was useless to fight right now. The most he could do would be jump from a moving vehicle and that would be stupid. The had taken him... ripped him from his home against his will. He hadn't been strong enough to fight them off. He'd been too weak. And now he was a prisoner again.
A few more tears fall.
Eli's eyebrows rise as Ryan talks. He stares at her, absorbing her words and blinking once or twice. He shouldn't be surprised she'd figured it out. It had been a few days with lots of time to think, and she was smart. He hadn't meant to cause a rift between them. He'd only wanted to do what he thought was right the other night and hadn't meant for Alec to run. If he'd known Alec would run, he probably wouldn't have called anybody. But it was too late now. His sister was obviously upset with him, and there wasn't much he could do about it now.
"Well..." He straighten up, pursing his lips. He willed himself not to become upset back at her - at least not on the outside. "I guess I'll get going to work then." He really had nothing else to say. "I'll... see you later."
Giving a little nod, he aims for the door. "Call me if you change your mind about needing something from the store, Speedy," he mentions over his shoulder. Grabbing his jacket, he slips out the door.
Alec squints at the door, hoping he'd found the right one in his mental state. He could barely see through one eye that was purple and swollen. His lower lip had been split and more bruises accented his face. His right arm was wrapped around himself to hold his ribs. To say he felt like he'd been run over by a truck would be accurate. He hears a motorcycle engine rev, and doesn't realize that he'd missed Eli by seconds. It was just as well though.
Swallowing hard, he manages to knock, though both his hands were so sore. Closing his eyes, he just leans against the wall and waits, hoping he didn't collapse before someone came. He'd seen Ryan's car, so all he could do was hope she was actually home.

I know
As Scott starts to wake Hope looks down giving a warm smile. She didn't want him to be scared or upset, and maybe her smile would comfort him. The last thing she wanted to do while driving was upset.
"You're save Scott, we are in Reese car. Everything is going to be ok, I promise."
Looking up for a second to catch Reese eyes in the mirror to let him know Scott was awake Hope looks down again. Running her fingers through Scott's hair softly to keep him calm.
Looking at her brother Ryan's eyes seem to be fulled with emotion as she sat and though about everything that had been going on. Looking back to the tv Ryan just keep flipping channels. Her stomach felt sick, and she hated thinking Alec had really left, and left her behind. He had his reasons, but...Ryan would of went with him. But worse than that someone else lied heavy in her mind. She been betrayed by someone who new how much she cared and saw how happy she was. That hurt more than anything in the world.
"You could help me find where Alec went...but than again your the one who called him in so I guess you wouldn't help me with that."
Finally Ryan looks to her brother again, her look not of total anger, but one mixed with hurt, and the feeling of betrayal.
"I know it was you Eli. No one else at that track new who Alec was, let alone who to call. And Jason mentioned your name today before I tackled him. Thats what really gave you away."
Ryan's words wanted to waver, and her eyes wanted to flood but she willed them not to. She stayed strong as she looked back to her brother.
"I told him he could trust you, because I though you'd understand. He would of went back after the race on his own free will, but being treated like an animal he's not thats what made him go away. He's done a bunch of stuff to help the Elite and yet they still treated him like they did. It's not right Eli."

Coming to
Reese nods to Hope and reaches for the radio. He goes through the stations until he finds one he knew Scott would enjoy. It was a classical station. Reese himself didn't care for classical music, but he knew it was Scott's favorite, and right now he'd be willing to do just about anything to make Scott more comfortable.
The ride is a long one. A two -hour stretch never seemed to take so long. But long before the time was up, Scott begins to stir.
Shifting his weight a little bit, Scott opens his eyes groggily. Everything was a bit blurry. He had a really nice feeling though... it felt like someone was running their fingers through his hair. It was soothing... relaxing... wait, who was doing it?
Trying to move and finding it difficult to move any of his muscles, his heart rate picks up. Where was he? Why were they moving? Why couldn't he get his body to move? He realizes his head is in someone's lap and he sensed who it was now.
"Hope?" His voice is hoarse and weak as he tried to pull out of the first sedative. "Where am I? What's going on?"
"Hey." Eli leans over the back of the couch to look down at Ryan. "Thought you'd be pampering your car on your day off." He looks at her inquisitively. She seemed extra quiet today.
"I gotta go into work for a few hours but that's it. Gotta run to the store later - need anything?"

In the wind
It hurt as Hope stood at the outside of the car contemplating for a long moment. Later she new the tears would come, but for now they were head at bay. Even though the sick feeling was in her stomach.
"I'll sit in the back with him. I have another sedative if we need it."
Slipping into the backseat Hope puts Scott's head in her lap as she gently hand her hand through his hair. This was the least she could do was keep him comfortable while they drive.
Leaning her head back as they started out Hope watched the scenes fly by. Every thing was in a blurr to her as her mind was wondering. To filled with her own thoughts that nothing seemed to take shape or form.
Finding Reese eyes in the rear view mirror she tried to give a smile but it didn't come out to good.
"Can you put a little soft music on? When Scott wakes it might help him stay calm."
Sitting in the couch with a bowl of ice cream in hand Ryan flipped through the tv channels. Nothing was one, there was nothing to do. The ice cream seeming to bring her a little comfort. It had been a few days since Alec had been gone, no word, no call nothing. Was he really gone? Leaving the memories of Ryan in the wind?

Front or back
Scott continues to struggle, not caring what either one said now and not listening. All he wanted was to be freed and left alone.
Seeing Hope draw near, then feeling the prick of the needle, his eyes widen slightly and he just looks at her, emotions flooding his eyes as if saying, 'I can't believe you just did that.'
Reese still holds him firmly, his heart pounding. For now, his adrenaline was taking over his emotions and he was fine with that. Later on, this whole thing was going to hurt. He nods to Hope. "Yeah. Go ahead and get some of his things. I'll keep him still here and we'll get everything out to the car."
Within moments, Scott's world starts to blur. His muscles relax against his will and his knees buckle. His last words come out lethargic and slurred. "I hate you."
Feeling dead weight in his arms, Reese is brought to one knee, panting. "I know you do," he answers lamely. "I would to." Sighing deeply, he takes a few seconds to breathe before hoisting Scott up in his arms and aiming for the door.
Within no time, Scott's in the backseat of the car, his things in the trunk. Reese looks to Hope again, trying to not let his emotions get in the way. "He's not going to be out for the whole two hour drive. Do you want to be up front or in back with him when he comes to?"

Gonna be ok
Shaking her head Hope's heart hurt so much. She didn't want it to end like this, she didn't want anyone to get hurt and the last thing she wanted was to put Scott into a panic.
Seeing Domino Hope reaches down to grab her and holding the little dog close understanding why she was upset.
"Shhh...its ok Domino. He's gonna be ok."
Moving quickly Hope brings the small dog to the bathroom and sets her down inside before closing the door. She didn't want to see Scott's dog hurt on top of everything else. And she would be back later to come get Domino and take her, to her house.
Coming back into the living room where Scott was still fighting Reese Hope could feel the tears in he eyes that wanted to come as she held them at bay.
"Scott, please calm down before you hurt yourself please."
Seeing her words did not good Hope took the syringe from her pocket. Quickly removing the cap and making sure there was no air bubbles. Going over to Reese and Scott she looks in the eyes for a moment.
"You know I would never do anything to hurt you Scott. This is to calm you down so you don't hurt yourself ok."
Taking the needle she puts it into his upper arm administering the sedative. She hated having to do this but she new it had to be done.
"Reese he should be feeling the effects in a few moments, do you want to take him to the car and I will grab a few of his thing quick?"

Panic
Hope's words stung even though they weren't intended to. If he loved her? "Don't play that card," he warns. "Whether I love you or not has nothing to do with this. I've got a problem you can't fix, so you think you can just send me off like some malfunctioned equipment to get repaired."
His eyes narrow. "Don't you dare force me. I told you I wasn't going and I meant it. This is my house and I will do what I darn well please, whether it's missing breakfast or listening to music you two don't like. This is my life. And I'm staying." Too distracted by talking with Hope, he hadn't realized that Reese had slipped around to the other doorway. He starts to back up again, feeling cornered.
Reese steps inside and lays a hand on Scott's shoulder to stop him. Scott whirls around in surprise, almost falling backward.
"Easy." Reese doesn't give him an inch to get around him. "Just let us help, Scott. That's all we're trying to do."
"Help?" Scott gropes for the counter as he backs away from Reese. "You call this help? Forcing me from my own home?" Seeing a way into the hall, he jumps at it, to skirt around Reese and get to his room where he could lock the door. Unfortunately, Reese was faster.
Reese catches Scott and pulls him into a bear hug, immobilizing his arms. Scott howls and throws his head back, whacking Reese squarely in the mouth. Though in pain now, Reese doesn't let go. "Scott, calm down," he barks. "You're going ot hurt yourself."
"Let me go!" Panic set in as Scott was held from behind. His heart began to race and he fought for all he was worth, sending Reese into the counter, knocking things over. Still held, he kicks at Reese's shins and tries to break free, but Reese was simply more powerful.
Hearing her master in trouble, Domino comes skirting around the corner, barking and going for Reese's ankles, grabbing his jeans with her teeth. Reese tries to maintain a grip on Scott, now with more to worry about. He looks to Hope, desperate. "I need your help right about now."
"No!" Scott screams. "Let me go!"

If you love me
Standing herself Hope's heart screamed at her. She wanted to run and hug him, tell him it would be ok, she wanted to say ok forget it. But she couldn't not this time. Scott had gone to far on letting himself go and in someways he looked worse then when she had first met him.
"Scott, please don't make this any harder than it is. We care, and this is not forever its only for a little bit. You'll have a telephone and you can bring your camera too if you like. This is whats best for you."
Hope keeps her hands in her pocket fingers around the syringe she had with the sedative. She didn't want to use it on Scott, she didn't want to force him but if she had to she would.
"You've lost a lot of weight Scott, and you have fallen into the pit of depression. Time, space we were happy to give you that, but now we are scared too. Your going with us, but we would rather you came by will, than force. Please...if you love me, do this for me. Get the help you know you need."
Hope glances to Reese again telling him to go around the other side. If Scott still refused than they would have to make him.

Forget it
Scott blinks, sure that he isn't hearing correctly at first. But listening to Hope, he realizes that it was true what she was saying. His expression goes from total shock, to almost blank.
"You're kidding me, right?" He looks between Hope and Reese. "Just because I took some time off, you two thought up a little scheme to get me to a hospital?"
Reese intervenes. "You know that's not it. There's a difference between taking time off and hiding yourself away. You're killing yourself, Scott, look at yourself. When was the last time you had a decent nights' sleep? Or a decent meal?"
"That's none of your business," Scott hisses. "I'm fine." His hand slips away from Hope's. "I'm fine the way I am, so you can forget it. I don't need help. I just need my space."
"You've had your space," Reese replies calmly. "And it's only hurting you more."
"So I lost some weight, big deal!" Scott's eyes turn frustrated. "So I prefer spending more time with my camera than people - what's different about that now than it was before? There's nothing wrong with me!"
"You know that's not true."
Scott stands up from the table, his chair scraping on the floor. "You two can just forget it. I'm not going anywhere."
"It's for your own good, Scott. We care. Now come on... don't fight us about it. We're trying to help."
"I don't need your help! I just need to be left alone! Can't anyone see that? I just need to be left alone!" Scott backs up several steps. "I'm not going."
Reese stands up slowly, his stomach starting to churn. He looks at Scott, seeing the fear and anger. Then he looks at Hope. He wouldn't make any move without her go-ahead. Brute force was the last resort, but he was ready if it needed to be done that way.

Because I love
Letting out a long sigh and coming into the house Hope gives a smile to Scott bringing him what comfort she could. This was going to be hard, and she new it but non the less Reese and herself thought it best for Scott's own health.
Sitting down next to Scott Hope takes his hand in her own. If anything she just wanted him to know she was there. She loved him and she would never leave him.
"Scott, Reese and I are worried about you. You hardly eat, see anyone and....I've...I've tried to help but there is nothing else I can do."
Hope looks to Reese for support this was hard...this was so hard to do when you were close to someone even though you new it was what was best.
"We have arranged for you to stay some place else for a little while. Its not a hospital exactly. You will have your own nice room and its done up like a house but you will be able to get more help there than I can offer you. I love you Scott and I am worried thats why I did this."
Looking at Scott Hope pauses not sure if Reese wanted to add anything before hearing what Scott had to say.

Leery
"Aw...." Gunner grins and accepts the gum. "You do know how to make me feel good, don't you?"
Tucking the gum in his pocket, he hides it for now for him to enjoy later. Standing up, he walks as far as he can next to Bree before he has to stop. Taking her hand and giving her one last kiss through the bars, he smiles his farewell. "Chin up... I'll see you soon."
Watching her leave, he nods to JT, with whom he hadn't been able to speak, but it was okay. JT knew that his job was to take care of Bree, and he would.
And once again, silence falls over the jail cell. Gunner stands for a long time, just looking at the door before finally retreating to his cot once again. Sucking the last bit of float from the cup, he tosses it in the waste can and leans back against the wall, closing his eyes. There was light at the end of the tunnel.
And so life continues to move on. The hands of time spin around the clock faces faster than anyone would like, bringing every moment closer to becoming the past. And it seems without warning, two days have gone by, leaving only memories.
Scott sits on the floor in his living room, his arms around his legs. The last couple days had been quiet. He'd turned off the ringer on his phone and hadn't gone out but once or twice to get the mail. He'd focused on developing more film, and had slept much of the days away, feeling too weary to do much else. Nightmares kept him awake in terror in the night, so sleeping during the day had become a habit. Today though, he'd found the picture he'd wanted. He'd taken it over a week ago in a flower shop, gaining permission to shoot a bright red lily. It had turned out better than planned, and he was sure that this one he could sell.
For now though, he was tired again, and sitting on the floor in the corner was somehow safer than out in the open, even in his own house. He wasn't sure what time it was. Skipping most meals, losing track of time was easy.
Reese parks his car on the curb and shuts off the engine, looking to Hope and taking a deep breath. "Well... let's do this."
Hope had confirmed that Brookshire was a safe place, and had also confirmed that Scott had shown no signs of improvement, only more decline. Reese had made the arrangements for taking Scott to the hospital and now they were at Scott's house, ready to go and break the news to him.
Mustering up what gumption he could, Reese exits the car and waits for Hope before walking up to the front door. He rings the doorbell and waits. Hearing nothing, he knocks and calls out. "Scott? Are you home?"
Scott stirs from his seat on the floor, hearing the doorbell. A chill runs down his spine. Who was here? What did they want? Then hearing Reese's voice, he relaxes. He didn't know what Reese wanted, but it wasn't an enemy.
Finally getting up, he wanders to the door and unlocks it, opening it up. Seeing both Reese and Hope though, catches him by surprise. "Oh... hi." Confusion was in his voice. "What's up?"
Reese offers a smile. "Can we come in."
"Yeah... sure." Still leery, Scott backs up so they can come in. His living room looked like it had become a photo lab... an obsession of the art instead of a hobby.
Reese gestures to the kitchen table. "Shall we sit?"
Scott looks at Hope, wondering what was going on. Something felt strange. Why were they here together? What had happened? What was wrong. He searches her eyes, but doesn't find the answers. "Um... sure."
Joining them at the table, all three sit and Scott continues to look at them for answers. "This doesn't feel like a social call... what's going on?"
Reese looks to Hope, letting her speak first.

Got this
Just enjoying talking with Gunner the time seemed to move all to fast and Bree wasn't ready to say good bye. It wasn't long enough to spend with him, as her fingers seemed to tighten just a little more. Giving a nod of her head Bree replyed.
"I try and look at the starts every night. Tonight I will look even harder."
Using her free hand Bree reaches into her pocket pulling out a pack of cinnamon gum. It was Gunner favorate and she hadn't forgot.
"I got this for you too."

Stargaze
Gunner listens quietly, his eyes not moving from Bree as she explains how she was. He could tell that she was hurting and it wasn't a surprise. But she was surviving... and at this point, that's what mattered.
"I'm sorry," he apologizes quietly. "It wasn't supposed to happen this way. But at least you're safe. And me... I'll get out of here." He makes himself smile for her sake. "They can't hold a vampire for too long."
Reaching down, he picks up the rootbeer float and takes a sip, leaning back and sighing with content. "Mmm....now that's good stuff. You... a float... what more could a guy ask for huh?"
Managing another smile, he gives her hand a squeeze. "Hang in there.... for me, okay? It won't last forever. And when it's over..." He gives a lame laugh. "Okay, so we won't laugh over it, but we can at least say we survived and we beat them."
The next half hour, Gunner encourages smalltalk and tries to make it lighthearted, despite where they were. He was glad to see Bree and knew she was glad to see him. That was enough for now, even though they both wanted more. Some minutes passed in silence, but Gunner never let go of Bree's hand, not wanting to let go... not wanting to lose her again.
But soon, JT was gesturing that their time was up and they needed to part. Gunner looks to Bree, still sitting next to her and cocks his head. "Well... you gonna stargaze tonight?"

Another Time
As Gunner pulls away Bree watching him with a carouse look on her face to what he was doing. Finally understanding Bree cant help but the small laugh that escaped her lips.
"The biting will have to wait for another time."
Walking over to the bench to sit next to Gunner Bree wraps her fingers around his. Just holding him right almost as if she didn't he might vanish right before her eyes.
Thinking for a moment about his question Bree new the answer wouldn't be to great but she would explain a little to Gunner away. If it meant giving her more time with him than it was well worth it.
"Well...I've been pretty quiet. Not back to work yet let alone know if I even have a job. Things are just really rough right now. I miss you something awful and I can't wait to have you around again. The sun just doesn't seem to shin are bright without getting to see you every day. I try to stay positive, but it doesn't help much."
Bree still had so many emotions raging inside that went to so many different places. Her parents, what had happened to her, what they were doing to Gunner. She was hurt inside, even though she had made it through everything, she was still hurting and not having her solid ground there, someone who was a little crazy like her was hard and it felt so lonely.

Clink
Gunner gives a little growl, humor twinkling in his eye at Bree's comment. He doesn't have time to respond though when she's returning for more kiss.
Not resisting, he just lets the exchange continue, loathing the bars between them that kept him from wrapping his arms around her like he wanted to. He'd been growing close to Bree before all this... but being without her for so long... he knew now he felt so much more for her.
Drawing back, his eyes shine with a deep care for her, still with a little humor mixed in. Tilting his head, he aims for her neck, but the bars are in the way, and his teeth clink against them. "Nope," he shakes his head. "Can't do it." His hand reaches through instead to run along her face and to the back of her neck. "It's okay though... your uncle doesn't need to see you with a hickey."
Grinning, he kisses her again then draws back. "Come on." Nodding to the side, he walks to the bench that was on both sides of the bars. Sitting down, he gestures to where Bree could sit beside him, and his hand slips through again to hold hers. "I want to know how you are... how you've been."

Bliss
Hearing Gunner's words and feeling his lips brush her it makes Bree feel so good inside, and realize just how much more she had missed him. Feeling the passion, something she never had felt before, she didn't hate it.
Pulling away just a little Bree look deep into Gunner's eyes. A humor laced in her voice, not for Gunner but for her comment.
"Is this the part where you bite my neck so I can be with you forever?"
Before he could reply though Bree bringing her lips back to his continuing the kiss with a passion never shared with anyone else before. Her hand slipping from the side of his back to the back of his head.
The emotions flowed over her, sending chills down her back. Oh how this moment nothing else seemed to matter, lost in time, and where they were the kiss, the bliss that she didnt want to break.

Care
A low chuckle emerges at Bree's comment and Gunner leans his face into her hand. "I didn't know vampires could be smexy," he teases.
Seeing the tears behind her eyes, his own hand moves to her face, his thumb running up from the side of her mouth to under her eye, just caressing her softly. "Freedom is in here," he taps his chest. "These bars are just an annoyance. But they'll be gone soon."
Moving his face down to hers again, his lips brush past hers, remembering the kisses they had shared... the kisses he missed. At one time, he had thought he was meant to forever be alone. But after letting Bree into his heart... he knew he wouldn't be able to stand not having her around. And these past weeks had been torture.
Kissing her lips again, his eyes close as he moves as close as he can to her, despite the bars. He had always been so cautious... so gentle... so timid with his affection. Today though, he was so glad to see Bree... so happy she was in front of him, weary but well, and safe... she was safe.
His kiss becomes more passionate than it had before, daring to deepen and show how much he cared for and had missed her.

Smexy
Feeling Gunner's hand locked with her his skin, so soft on her it felt like a millions years, a life time since she had last felt this. The warmth that ran from him to her it brought her the comfort she had so desperately needed.
"When...when I was back in the hospital Gunner....your the one who saw me thought. You saved me in more ways than one."
Moving her head a little to look Gunner in the eyes she searches them, her eyes held back the tears that wanted to come. The emotions that so well could be hidden on her face just didn't now. She wanted to see, she wanted him to know. He was a part of her, and to him she was willing to share.
"I would have gone crazy if I hadn't of knowing you. But I kept you in my sights, locked in that darkroom, I had your face the whole time. Than you came and you saved me with my Uncle. You..."
Bree chokes on her words.
"...you gave up your freedom for me. I hope they get you out soon, I hate moving through the days without you."
Bringing her arm through the bars her fingers run along the side of Gunner's face, and mapping his cheeks and his jaw.
"You look at smexy like you always do, my memorie didn't fail me, but actually seeing you is so much better."
Continuing to walk Hope stops outside a burger king maybe she would get some lunch for her and Scott. If she could get him to eat at least something she would feel a little better about leaving him so she could go do some work.
"Ok I'll check it out, and keep you updated. It will only take me a day or two to find out what I need. Thanks Reese, it means a lot."
Hanging up the phone Hope ties Domino to a pole outside squating down she gives a smile.
"Stay, I'll be right out and I will bring you something to eat too ok?"
Standing up again and going inside it doesn't take long before Hope was out again and throwing a few chicken nuggets to Domino before continuing home. It wasn't a long walk and she would get there in about ten minutes.

Confined little world
Gunner breaks out in a smile as Bree comes near, resting his hands on the bars. He can't help a little chuckle as he sees the float. "Aw, you didn't have to do that. But I thank you."
Reaching through to take the cup, he sets it to the side then straightens again, just looking at Bree's face. He could tell just by her eyes that she had been through so much and he wished he'd been able to be there for her. But right now he needed to show her that he was fine so she had one less thing to worry about.
Leaning down, he rests his head on his side of the bars, his forehead just touching hers. "It's okay," he responds quietly. "You don't need to say anything."
His hands slip through the bars to find hers, giving her fingers a squeeze. "I'm just glad to see you here... see you're okay...." He looks into her eyes, trying to assure her that things really were okay. "You're as beautiful as ever," he whispers. "A real sight for sore eyes. I found you in the stars but... this is better."
Hope had a good point about not telling Scott too soon, and Reese rubs his forehead wearily. "Alright... go ahead and check out Brookshire. As soon as you know it's okay, give me a call and I'll make the arrangements to get him there... how, I'm not sure if he doesn't want to go, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. And..."
He pauses, trying to think of anything else. "Just let me know I guess. If anything happens sooner, call me. Sometime we'll have to tell his family too if we get him to the hospital."
Scott wakes up with a jolt, not sure what had roused him. He didn't even know how long he'd been out, but it couldn't have been too long. His mouth felt like cotton and his head was spinning.
Managing to get up, he trudges to the kitchen for a glass of water. His stomach growls, followed up by some pain, but after looking at the refrigerator, he ignores it and goes back to the living room.
Looking over his mess of pictures again, he gathers up about half of them, folding them up and stuffing them into a nearby waste basket. Then standing over what was left, he focuses on finding the best, obsessing over something that would keep his mind off of the Agency. It was the only distraction he had. He'd been spending all his time sleeping, taking pictures and talking on the phone with art galleries. And that was it. This was his world and this was where he was staying.
Reaching through to take the cup, he sets it to the side then straightens again, just looking at Bree's face. He could tell just by her eyes that she had been through so much and he wished he'd been able to be there for her. But right now he needed to show her that he was fine so she had one less thing to worry about.

Lose
Walking down the long hall of cells Bree felt strange being her but her stomach churned wanting to see Gunner so bad. She missed him so much and it hurt so bad now to know she could see him.
Drawing closer and seeing his hands, hearing his voice Bree hurry a little faster still she was in front of his cell. A wide smile breaks out of her face.
"Gunner...oh Gunner.."
She steps as close as she can to the bars holding out the float to him.
"I remembered, I said I was going to bring you one."
It felt like every last thing Bree had wanted to say to him was caught now in her throat. Her voice was so hard to find but the emotion of tears welled in her eyes. She wanted to grab him and hug him close but the bars prevent that. So leaning her head aganst the bars she hers where a whisper.
"I miss you so much Gunner, and now your here and I have no idea what to say."
Thinking for a long moment Hope lets out another long sigh. She was happy Reese offered to do this, it was night of him but still a question lingered was this right?
"I would say our best bet would be to talk to him the day he needs to go. Anytime before that he could put on a show that he was ok when really, he's not."
Getting up and starting to walk again Hope continues to think wondering about Reese questions that filled her mind. She wished it hadn't come to this really she did.
"I"d say we might want to do it as soon as possible. Its been a while since Scott had a good meal or night sleep and I wouldn't want to wait to long. Maybe give him a day or two, it will give me time to check out this hospital myself if you don't mind so I know its ok. As well as give you time to call them and make arrangements. I just want Scott well again Reese. and I am at a lose on what to do."

Different story
Reese takes in what Hope is saying, trying to be logical about the whole thing. Scott was harming himself by not taking care of himself and it was not healthy.
"If... you think he needs to be taken somewhere, then we need to work on that," Reese agrees. "I don't think it should be Northside. I don't think Scott would do well there. It needs to be a more sensitive atmosphere where they aren't going to dope him up like they did with Gunner. I do know of another hospital about two hours from here... Brookshire I think. You might be familiar with it. The head guy is a Christian so things are run a little differently. I heard about it a while back - a cousin of mine had a daughter who was suicidal after she found out she was pregnant, and she's a completely different person now - doing real well."
He stops to think again, contemplating the consequences of this whole thing. There were many people he could call on to help move Scott. Dalton was the first that came to mind, but Reese didn't want to put him through that - not when he and Scott were such good friends. Con? Jason? Nate? He sighs.
"I'll come myself," he offers. "I don't want Scott hating anybody else. If there's got to be a bad guy, let it be me. I feel responsible for this whole thing anyway." It was true - he did. Ever since the day they thought Scott died, Reese had felt the burden of responsibility whether he should have or not. "I could handle him if I needed to," he concludes. "If this is what you really think he needs... how do we do it? Do we need to talk to him about it? Do you want me to? Or.... when?" He knew he was asking a lot of questions, but he really had no idea how to go about this. Gunner had been one thing - a willing party once it came down to it. Scott was a different story altogether.
Jason smiles a little.
Yeah... I should eat something too. No wonder I'm so grouchy. Give me about five minutes and I'll be there. Have Rick nearby too - I need him to look at my mouth.
"Good call." Leo heads for the bathroom, but turns around again as she asks him about the sub. "Uh.... just give me whatever they've got close to Italian or club - I'm not picky. But no onions! You've gotta stand me for the rest of the day."
Grinning at her, he turns back to the bathroom to wash up. It doesn't take him long and he's back with most of the paint washed off his skin, though his clothes were spattered in various places.
With the radio still going, he performs some smooth dance moves across the floor, ending with several spins right in front of Cassy, a cheesy grin on his face. "I was gonna do the splits, but I don't think my jeans would tolerate that move."
Seeing his niece emerge, JT can't help it that his eyes widen. He didn't know if he'd ever seen Bree in a dress, let alone thinking she even owned one. He didn't want to draw too much attention to it though and embarrass her, so he just gives her a gentle smile. "I think we're ready too. You look great."
Heading to the door, it doesn't take long to stop and get a rootbeer float, then aim for the police station. David himself was there to take them inside, ensuring things went as they were supposed to. Once they had permission to see Gunner, an officer leads them back down a corridor to where the cells were. Unlocking the last door, the officer gestures inside. "You can go in."
It was a larger room, separated into several different cells that remained locked. There was only one occupant in one of them though, and it was Gunner.
Hearing the door open, Gunner looks up from his cot, not knowing what to expect. He knew David had been working on making it so Bree could come see him but -
Instantly, he's off the cot and to the bars, his eyes falling on the one he'd wanted to see so badly. "Bree."

What kind?
Giving a nod to Reese Katie stands and exits the room knowing it was something important if he wanted to to leave. Shutting the door behind her Katie makes her way back to her cubicle.
Ok I still got a mountain of work to do but if you want I have leftover from our half date last night in the fridge. Maybe we can grab a bite.
Katie new Jason was tired so if he said no than she would completely understand but it was worth a shot in asking anyways.
Hope gives a nod even though Reese can't see her. Scott did need help and she felt it was something more than she could give. Not because she didn't love him, or because she didn't want to deal with it but because she only had a limited amount of resources herself.
"I agree he does need help, and I don't think I have what I need to help anymore. Not that he's even listing to me."
Thinking again for a moment Hope spots a bench and takes Domino over to sit down. Letting out a heavy sigh she thinks for a long moment.
"Med could help, but I hate prescribing those, I've seen it do a lot more harm to people than help. Not to mention if Scott would even take them. My first instinct would tell me he should go into the hosp for a little while. I think they could help him more, and I could still go and see him. Only problem with that is I know Scott wont go on his own, and if I forced him he'd probably end up hating me."
Hope lets out another long stressed sigh.
"If it was....for his own health than it was worth him hating me. I just...couldn't get him there alone."
Cassy laughs again. It had been a long time since she had fun like this. It felt good, new...and she was enjoying it.
Accepting Leo's hand up Cassy shakes her head and nods to the bathroom.
"I'll order the subs if you want to clean up a little before hand. I don't think it would taste good eating the paint."
Cassy takes a few steps twords the phone by the crash register before she stops and turns back to Leo.
"What would u like on your sub?"
Hearing her Uncles voice from the other room Bree sat for a moment infront of the mirror. She finished her shower and got dressed in time now she was just trying to pull herself together before seeing Gunner. She was excited, she was nervous, but she was ready.
Exiting the bedroom it was rare to see Bree in a dress and probably after today no one would again but today was a special day. It was knee lagnth with a v neck, it was a navy blue color to help bring out her eyes.
"Ok, I'm ready...I've got the gum, we are gonna get the shake I am pretty sure thats everything."

Go somewhere?
Jason contemplates his options, tapping his fingers on his steering wheel. Stopping at a stop sign, he could go right and go to TJY or left and go home. He wanted to go home. He needed sleep and his mood was foul. But he knew Reese would want an explanation of what had happened with Ryan.
Sighing, he turns right. His emotions proved his indecision and grouchiness.
I'm coming in, Babe. I'll give Reese ten minutes, then I'm going home.
Reese listens to Hope, his heart sinking. He still had Scott's letter of resignation that he had done nothing with. He'd hoped that it was the same as when others had resigned... that he just needed some time off and would be back. But it had been about two weeks now and Reese hadn't seen him once. Now hearing he was doing so poorly upset him.
Glancing over to Katie, he puts a hand over the receiver and forces a small smile. "Would you mind giving me a minute? I'll call your cubicle when I need you back."
Waiting until she was gone, he returns to his phone call. Katie and Scott were good friends, even after their little romance didn't last, and Reese didn't want to upset her too.
Still listening to Hope, he sighs deeply. "I was hoping he'd be able to clear his mind. I know after that one morning when he told Dalton not to let him back into the system that he was afraid of accidentally betraying us, but I didn't know things were getting to him that badly."
He'd thought that Scott was truly on the road to recovery. He'd been doing so well, and had been happy. What had happened? Reese thought it ironic that Hope was the counselor and she was asking his opinion.
"Sounds like he needs help," he confirms. "Unfortunately, I don't know what kind, to what extent, or where he's going to get it. But you coming to me proves that it may be bigger than you. If he's not responding to you then I don't know what will help. Him not eating and not wanting to get up and do things sounds like severe depression to me. There's medication for that, but I don't know what that would do for the nightmares. He's got some real turmoil going on inside of him... I was surprised he'd done as well as he had, after all he'd been through. I know he wrote a report on his experience but... I don't think we'll ever fully understand what he went through."
Pausing again, he just takes a moment to think. Scott was one of his best men... and he cared for him like he did all his agents. Even if Scott had resigned, Reese still felt responsible. He didn't want to ask this, but he knew he had to.
"Do you... think he needs a prescription from a doctor or... does he need... to go somewhere?"
Leo laughs right along with Cassy. Seeing her covered in paint was quite the sight and it was too funny not to laugh. Seeing her fall, his eyes widen but her laughing just proves she was not hurt and makes him laugh all the more.
Feeling the cool paint suddenly on his knee, he lets out a shriek and jumps back, trying to act shocked, but it wouldn't work with him laughing so much. Finally calming down enough to breathe, he sets his hands on his hips, looking down at Cassy and her extended hand.
"Not sure about the truce, but I'm mighty hungry. Lunch sounds fantastic."
Taking her hand, he helps pull her up. Once she's standing, he retrieves his rag from his back pocket and reaches out to wipe the paint from Cassy's face.
"There you are. Though you looked great in the carnival look."
JT gets home early from work, checking his watch and knowing they were pushing it. David had called. It was time.
"Bree?" he calls as soon as he's inside. He was glad she'd been staying here a lot lately. He was a bit worried about her, even if he hadn't said so to her face. "You ready?"
He pokes his head into the living room. "We gotta go if we're gonna stop and get that float on the way."

Truce
Being put on hold as Reese phone rings Katie sits down in the comfy chair again and leans her head back. She new Jason was tired, and she was happy he was semi ok.
Ok J, get some rest and I will see you later I love ya.
Hearing Reese voice Hope continues to walk with her little friend knowing she was probley enjoying the attachen and walk to stretch her little leg.
"Hey Reese its Hope. Listen I know this really isn't anything to do with TJY anymore but..I'm really worried for Scott. He said he would be better not being around the Agency stuff but honesty it seemed like he is worse."
Hope didn't like talking about Scott without him knowing it but she really was worried about him. He was everything to her and she be lost without him. Not to mention she didnt like seeing him this way.
"He's hardly eating again, not motivated at all, wont get out of bed to even take his dog for walks. In the last two weeks yesterday was the first time in a while I heard from him. He's having bad nightmares and I just am a lost for what to so. I'm scared and worried for him and I guess I just wanted your take on this too since I am dating him and all."
Laughing again so hard as Leo whipped the paint on her for head Cassy felt like she was crying. Her sides starting to hurt. Taking a few steps twords Leo again she dosnt see the dribbles of pain on the floor and steps her feet going out from under her. As luck would have it she landed hard but out injuring her knee, just sending her into even more laughter.
Still laying on her back she looks up at the ceiling for a moment before reaching for her brush and pushing it into the whole in Leo's pants getting paint all over his knee. As she gasped for air Cassy was able to talk.
"I don't know what funner the paint or me falling."
Dropping the brush Cassy lays there for a long moment still before holding her hand out into a shake with Leo, turning her head to see him.
"Truce, and maybe lunch?"

Dozing
Reese lifts his eyebrows a little at Katie, pondering her question. "I don't know... she's not the quietest woman in town, but I didn't think she'd hurt one of us. I guess we'll have to wait and see what-"
His sentence is broken off by his phone ringing. He contemplates not answering it, but then decides better of it, and holds up a finger to Katie. Going for his phone, he answers it. "Yeah, hello?"
Jason hears Ryan's final words behind him, but keeps right on walking. She just didn't get it. But if she had a thing for Alec, he couldn't expect her to understand. They had ex-Agency working for them at TJY - this was very true. But they were people who were actually committed to the cause now. Alec... he was biding his time with a bad attitude the whole way. His helping them was going to keep him out of prison, but they couldn't trust him yet. As far as being locked up went, Alec was lucky he didn't get the death sentence, and being caged at TJY was a whole lot better than prison. But Ryan just didn't get it. She disliked the law anyway and Jason wondered if she ever would appreciate it.
I'm on my way back in. Didn't get much, but I need bed, so if Reese is planning on keeping me out here, I deserve four hours at least.
Sliding in behind the steering wheel of his truck, he starts the engine.
Scott hears Hope leave but stays in bed, drifting in and out of shallow sleeping. Eventually though, he finally pulls himself up and gets some clean clothes on. Skipping breakfast, he goes to his little dark room to gather some of his pictures he'd stacked in there after cleaning them up from his living room yesterday before Hope came. Taking them back to the living room, he spreads them out again, still sorting through the best ones and rearranging them, focusing on his own little world.
Sitting on the couch though, he's still weary, and after a while, he lies to the side, curling up on the cushions to doze again.
Leo goes crosseyed as he tries to see the white paint on his nose and he smirks at Cassy, his eyes starting to twinkle. Quick as a flash, he's got paint on both hands and steps toward her, taking her face between his palms and leaning down to wipe his nose on her forehead.
Stepping back, he can't help but laugh. "You look like you've been to the face-painter at the carnival," he teases.
White One
Letting out a long sigh Hope leaves the room before making her way to the kitchen and looking in the fridge. Not seeing much of anything she just lets out another sigh looking down at Domino. Something had to be done, this wasn't healthy for Scott at all and she new it.
Spotting Domino's leash Hope retrieves it before clipping it onto her collar. Giving her a little pat to the head she could see how excited she was already to go for a walk.
"Scott, I'm taking Domino for a walk. We will be back."
Exiting the house and hitting the fresh air it felt nice. But Scott words still haunted her. He didn't need mothering. Thats not what she had been doing, she was trying to help because she new being depressed and staying in the dark was not a good thing to do.
Continuing to walk she pulls how her phone dialing Reese direct number waiting for him to answer the phone.
Still standing there glaring at Jason as he walks away Ryan takes a few steps out of the auto shop doors.
"Arrest me than Jason, so you can lock me away like an animal too. And before you can tell me to watch my step maybe you should remember some of the people you have working for you are just like Alec too. Your such a hypocrite."
Turning around Ryan goes back inside irritated, frustrated, and now carrying a migraine with her. She was almost done with work, she just had to make it through the day.
Getting back behind the wheel of the finish car Ryan drives it out of the bay and into the packing lot for pick up before heading back inside to see what one needed to be worked on next.
Laughing again Cassy dosnt even bother to look in the mirror as she whips her face trying to get all the pain off she can.
"Oh yeah.."
Giving a misterous grin she reaches out her reflexs fast and puts a dot of paint on Leo nose. Giving a laugh again her eyes twinkle as she takes a few steps back from Leo herself.
"I have hurd of a brown noser but never a white one."
Ok, I'll tell him.
Looking up at Reese Katie's eyes showed worry that something might not be dier but something did feel wrong.
"Jason, he's in pain. He said he was ok, but He said we can't trust Ryan McKade. Do you think she was really capable of hurting him?"

...I think
Scott scowls as his blanket is taken away from him. "It's too early. And I put a doggy door in for Domino last week."
He pulls his pillow tighter under his head. "I don't need mothering."
Hearing her name, Domino suddenly appears in the doorway, one of her chewtoys hanging from her mouth with a bit of slobber. Excited to see people up, she trots to the bed, putting her front paws up as far as she can and depositing her toy next to Scott's face. Her little stump of a tail wriggled with anticipation of getting her toy thrown across the room for her to chase.
Scott doesn't even open his eyes. Moving one hand, he gives the toy a halfhearted thump, knocking it off the bed.
Domino drops down and looks at it, sighing as if disappointed. Instead of trying again though, she picks it back up and leaves the room again, going to find something else to occupy herself if her master wasn't going to play with her.
Scott senses Hope is still there, so he lifts his fingers in a lame wave. "There's stuff in the fridge if you want breakfast," he mumbles. "... I think."
Leo doesn't notice the time passing much. He didn't mind painting and the music and company were good. Moving right along, he's up and down the ladder, painting up to the ceiling. Coming down several rungs to get more paint, his arm is suddenly swiped with Cassy's brush.
His eyes widen and he looks at her, seeing her start to laugh. Quirking an eyebrow and holding a straight face, he smirks at her. "Gotta hand it to ya - you got good aim."
Taking his free hand and wiping some of the paint off his arm with his fingers, there's no warning as he reaches out and gets Cassy's cheek with a finger, giving her a nice stripe down the side of her face."
He takes a step back and wipes his hand and arm on a rag, cocking his head at her, still keeping a straight face. "You got something..." he gestures to his own cheek. "Might wanna look in a mirror or something."
Not paying enough attention to his back, Jason is thrown forward and to the hard concrete. His mouth hits first, sending pain shooting through his mouth and jaw. Being pressed down by Ryan, his reflexes want to jolt her off his back and follow throw with a nice kick to the gut, but he refrains, hearing her words hurled at him.
Once free, he takes a deep breath, pulling himself up on all fours and seeing blood on the floor where his mouth had been. Touching his lip, it's clear it was his lower lip and bottom teeth that had taken the brunt of it. He spits out a bit more blood before getting to his feet.
I'm fine... just had a wildcat jump me from behind. Tell Reese we can't trust Ryan McKade.
He turns around and looks at Ryan, not quite glaring, but clearly not happy. "Be grateful I don't take you in for attacking an officer. As for my hunch, I guess I was right. Next time you're under suspicion, you're coming down to the station. So watch your step, Ryan. The law has a hard time trusting anybody who will defend a criminal like that."
Wiping his lip again, he turns to leave once more, heading for his truck.
Reese jumps at Katie's yell, his eyes going wide. "What? What happened? What is it?!"
He pulls his pillow tighter under his head. "I don't need mothering."
