Evil hands

Cindy chuckles and shakes her head. "You don't stink too badly, but if you want to give a good impression, a shower might be a good idea."

Watching him leave the room, she takes another bite of eggs and leans her head back against the wall with a contented sigh. She'd never be able to describe how good it felt to have Wes home.

"Hey, Mick?"

Mick pauses his task of grooming Remington to glance at Jim. Breakfast was over, and activities had picked up for the day. "Yeah?"

"I saw Clint and Rosalyn leave earlier. Do you know where they went?"

Mick resumes his brushstrokes. "I'm pretty sure they're running an errand in town. Clint plans to be back by this afternoon though - at least that's what he said when I asked if he'd be around to see Wes later."

"Mm."

When Mick looks up again, his brother was already gone. Sighing, he gives his horse a hearty pat on the neck. He didn't know what Jim was thinking, but he could only guess that puzzles pieces were being put together, and he'd figure out that Rosalyn was still seeing Chad.

Being greeted at the door, Rosalyn can feel her cheeks flush as she keeps her smile from spreading too widely. If nothing else, Chad was one of the most attractive men she'd ever met. "Um... how about we walk? I think better when my feet are moving. Besides, if it ever got around that I was visiting you at a hotel, I'd be in even more hot water."

Her eyes look up into Chad's, immediately getting lost in that shining gaze. "Although if I can keep this helmet here instead of lugging it around, that would be great." She'd keep the leather jacket on though. It was a warm day, but the breeze was just enough for her to want her arms covered. "Clint's off doing his thing and will be back to pick me up later."

Back on his bed with Grace working on his legs, Jared nods. "Yeah, just as bit. I mean, I've tried to be motivated enough to keep moving around even when you're not here. Of course... now I'm having shoulder surgery as a result, but hey, I tried, right?"

He rolls his eyes. "Bite off smaller chunks, I know. I guess I'm-" He comes to an abrupt halt as he winces, his hand putting the bedspread in a vice grip. "Holy crap," he breathes. "For such an angel, you have evil hands today."

Letting the pain pass, he smirks at her. "Sometimes I think you enjoy this."

Sit and Talk

Just smiling at Jared Grace wouldn't mind missing him again he was a good kisser and she had enjoyed it very much so. Seeing a sudden change in his eyes though Grace doesn't go in for another kiss but backs away a little bit as Jared does. She wondered what the look was about and what had changed so quickly but something told her that maybe it was part of Jared's past memories and not wanting to make the same mistakes.

"I guess that is true and it is kind of important for you to get on your feet so we can take that nice walk huh?"

Finishing up lunch and cleaning up a bit Grace runs a few things out to the kitchen to throw away. Stopping to talk with Lydia for a second and than heading back into Jared's room it wasn't long before she was back in the room and started on Jared's legs.

"So how have you been feeling lately? Anymore movement in your legs on your own?"

Rolling over on the bed and giving a yawn Chad blinks a little looking at the door to his room. Was that Rosalyn? Was he dreaming? Just sitting there he listens and hearing her knock again and than say it was her his heart started to race. She'd really come after all?

Quickly to the door Chad didn't even worry about his hair that was slightly unruliness, or his feel that were bare. Opening the door and seeing Rosalyn standing there he couldn't help but smile as he leaned against the door frame.

"Hey there stranger, happy you changed your mind and came to see me. Want to come in or go out somewhere to sit and talk?"

Hearing Cindy talk about Kaylee and that she new his picture it gave Wes a little comfort that even if his baby didn't know him as dad she at least new and and he could work with that as least he wouldn't be a complete strange.

"Well, at least I wont be a totally strange to her. Just means in time she will learn I am her daddy."

Looking up at Cindy and smile Wes sits up and gives her a kiss on the for head. He's worried so much on his way here about how things were, and if they would be awkard but now that he was here his fears had seemed so silly. Being home again was everything he'd remembered and his wife was still as wonderful and amazing as ever.

Knowing he couldn't stay in bed all day though Wes finally sits all the way up in the bed looking at Cindy one last time before getting up and stretching. Turning back to Cindy his eyes give the same twinkle they always did when he looked on her.

"I guess I should become human and take a show so when people deiced to give me a hug I don't stink them out. Be back in a flash."
