Strangers in the Night

Coming up the walk way like she had every other day Beth's step seemed a little lighter, her hair done a little nicer, and a tiny tiny bit of make up on to brighten her face. Looking up and seeing Justin a small smile lights up Beth's face as she gives a wave.

Over the last few days she had been doing ok, and after the night she just let it all out and cried it just seemed like so much weight was lifted off her shoulders. She was far from 100% but she was feeling better.

"Hey Justin. I wasn't sure if I would see you today or not."

Reaching down and giving Danitza and than Zora pets on the head making sure to give them extra scratches behind the ears where she new they liked it.

"Hello to both of you as well."

Standing up again and coming around to the bench Beth sits down and turns slightly to look at Justin. It really was nice to have someone to talk to now, to have a friend. Tilting her head a little bit and squinting her eyes in the sun light Beth's eyes give a tiny sparkle.

"I haven't seen you in a few days. I thought maybe you weren't coming back after all. I was going to call you tonight to see if you wanted to do dinner and a movie? Just a friendship thing, I promise not to break down crying on you again. I'm cooking again, and there is cherry pie."

Looking down at the bundle of flowers and than across the cubicles the flower delivery man just looks around a bit confused. He had a name, but where did he go for that person? Seeing a young red head at one of the cubicles he smiles.

"Excuse me Ms I was wondering if you could tell me where Susanne Baker is?"

Looking up from her cubicle Katie eyes the delivery man for a moment and than looks at the flowers. Had he asked for Susanne? Were those flowers for her? So many question raised even if they were non of her never mind.

"Yeah, just go straight here and through that door there. The lady at the desk is Susanne."

Giving a nod to Katie and a smile the man turns and heads in the direction he had been told. Coming into one of the other offices and seeing the woman behind the desk he clears his throat and gives a smile.

"Susanne Baker? These flowers are a delivery for you."

Hanging her a flowers they were a mix of roses and baby's breath, Lilly's and a few other flowers that went well together. All a mixed color that went well. Attached was a card.

Feeling Carson slip under her and his strong arms wrap around her Misty gives a little groan but a smile was on her lips to show she didn't mind being woken up by Carson at all. Opening her eyes just a little bit Misty looks up at her husband.

"Mmmm...I love you too Babe with all my heart. Your my first love, my only love, now and forever."

Bringing her hand up to the side of Carson's face and than slipping it to the back of his head Misty pulls him into her slightly bringing her lips to his in a kiss. She'd really missed him tonight more than normal. Its was just one of those things as the weather changed and the night became cold.

"Thank you to being my husband and putting up with me."

As Ariel takes Trey's hand again his first instinct was to pull it away. He hated being embarrassed by anyone but for some reason his fingers closed around her and he took a few steps forward. Letting a small grin move over his lips again it was not as big as before, but it was there again his dark eyes glinting in the night.

"Alright, I guess since I got two strikes left I can keep walking...but if you scream this time and don't mean it keep it down a little ok? I really don't want to kick anyone's butt tonight."

Catching up with her a little bit so he was walking next to her his hand still in hers Trey couldn't help but take not to how soft it was. It felt nice, it felt warm...it was different from anyone elses touch he had.

"So...we still on for lunch tomorrow?"

Looking up as Mick comes in Rosetta gives a smile to her husband. She wasn't going to try and hide that her and Dylan had been talking. Mick had a right to know if Dylan was ready to tell him.

"Hey Hun. Your not interrupting actually you have perfect timing."

Rosetta stand a little close to Dylan giving his arm a reassuring pat. Mick seemed to be in a good mood so now was the best time as ever to talk to him. Not to mention while everything was fresh it was better to talk than to let it sit and have second thoughts about it.

"Dylan and I have been talking about school and a few things that have happened in the past. He'd like to talk to you about it now as well if you have time. It will clear a few things up because I know it did for me. That is if Dylan is ready to talk about it."

Looking to Dylan and giving a smile and than nodding to the chair again Rosetta hops up on her desk to sit comfortably. If he was ready to talk than she was ready to sit with them. It was in his time and pushing him to talk to Mick would not help so she wanted to make sure he was ok with it too.
