Thankful

Handing off her keys to Hunter Katie goes around to the passenger side. A little slower than it would normally take but she makes it there and slips in. Feeling something vibrate under her bottom Katie gives a little jump shifting and reaching for her phone she forgot was there.

Opening the texts and seeing they were from Jason Katie reads them one by one before deleting them and letting out a sigh. Her finger hovers over the reply button but she hesitates. Shutting the phone off and stuffing it back in her pack Katie opts not to reply. She didn't want to hear an excuse, she was still angry with him.

Staying pretty silent the rest of the way back to Hunter's apartment it wasn't till they were inside and he was introducing her to his couch she finally chuckled. She was still intoxicated so it made the whole introduction a lot funnier.

"Why hello Mr. Couch I know we just met but I hope you dont mind to much if I sleep on you tonight."

Plopping down next to Hunter Katie shifts around a little before looking at Hunter again and the mention of sleep. She did feel a little sleepy but not nearly enough to sleep. She wondered though if he was tired?

'I"m not reallysh that tired...butsh if you want to sheep I can entertain myself shome how."

Continuing to being lost in the moment with Garret Victoria's guard was let down and hearing the snap of the branch brings everything back to reality. One she was not really ready to face. As Garret's reflexes kick in and the guard drops Victoria new it was a must and she would of done the same.

Just looking at the fallen body she can feel an anger surge through her. Why did they have to live like this? Would they always kill to hide there secret? She hated it had to be like this. Hearing There excuse Victoria gives a numb nod. This is not how she wanted the night to end but what was done was gone.

"Yeah, Ok that sounds like a plan."

Sliding off Garret's lap Victoria looks back to him and places a hand on his own. This day had been a nightmare for both of them, one they would not wake up from but simply move on. She wished there was something to say to make it better.

"You had to do this...No regret. My Grandfather will be thankful. I love you."
